He knew a lot about Hitoshi- he knew the kid dropped out of high school so he could work to pay for his addict mom’s rehab, and keep their apartment, and that most of the time he went hungry so that she could eat, even if she barely did. Hitoshi and the villain had become unlikely friends- bonding over Hitoshi’s smoking habits and tough childhoods.

Steve Harrington

It had been exactly two minutes since Chief Hopper dropped him onto his doorstep with the simple instructions to “keep an eye on the kid, Harrington, and make sure he takes his damn meds.” Billy was a mess since the battle at StarCourt. He was shaky and covered in bandages and Steve knew he had his work cut out for him with the stubborn son of a bitch, but he didn’t really mind.
