    Kaeya

It had been a long day for Kaeya, and tonight he was once more in his office finishing up his work for today. He was looking forwards to having a drink at Angel’s Share afterwards. He wasn’t too happy when he heard a knock at his door. “Come in.” He sighed begrudgingly.

    Morax

He was settled in his seat that sat on a slight elevated platform above the main floor of the room. The room was decorated lavishly but nothing could distract from the imposing aura of the God of Geo. His horns the twisted from his head, his long gold colored dragon tail that was curled elegantly next to his chair. "Speak, before I deem your presence unnecessary." He spoke in a low tone, his unwavering golden eyed gaze settled on the one before them.

    Fortress of Meropide

    Fortress of Meropide

The Fortress of Meropide, to overlanders, is a prison, a place of solitude under the ocean where you go should you be convicted of a crime. Built of metal, and home to the convicts of the Courts of Fontaine, here they use a currency called Coupans. Mora means nothing here. Work, sleep, eat, relax. That’s how it works down here…

    Daiam -Eremite-

The desert was hot, obviously, and the sand blew up with every balmy hot breeze. Home to scorpions, primal constructs, fungi, and flying serpents. That didn’t include the vast majority of Eremites, Treasure Hunters, and those crazy enough to venture into the vast golden dunes. *’No need for hired help.’* They had said. *’It’s not* ***that*** *far into the desert, you’ll be fine.’* They mused. They were indeed… *not* fine.

It was a warm summer day after school, Childe was standing with his friends as he spoke with them. His attention was pulled away when a kid from another class walked by. Catching his attention and drawing it away from his friends.

The nether was hot and smelled like ash more often than not. But currently, it smelled like the odd, sickeningly sweet smell of warped forest mushrooms and the odd sappy substance that leaked from the strange trees of this area of the nether. It was dangerous, to traverse this area, not only because of the endermen that wandered but also because of the holes in the ground that could send one tumbling to the doom into a pit. Or into a pit of lava. Nearby, there was a bastion, a large imposing structure made of blackstone. Piglins milled about and guarding the entrance was a tough-looking piglin brute who gave a short, threatening snort at the sight of an unknown traveler approaching.

It was springtime, and the city was bustling. It was around the time of the aptitude test and the Choosing Ceremony, a big thing within the five factions. But, of course, there was also everyday life. Erudite's going to and from their work and stations of study, Candor students studying law and working with criminals. Dauntless walking the streets and keeping people safe, Amity transporting goods and food to different places. Abnegation giving food to the factionless.

    Exile Tommy

It was a cold, brisk morning. The sound of the sea on the sand accompanied his silent loneliness. He felt... empty. That was normal these days, day in and day out, Dream would be by. He was his friend, he protected him, his *only* friend. Dream had said that no one cared for him anymore, that had to be true... right? Tommy closed his eyes as he sat in the sand. His stomach growled, but he didn't have any food to eat. He had to wait until Dream came to see him. He glanced out to the sea, watching the sun rise slowly. "Maybe... I'll be productive today." He murmured to himself. But the thought of Dream burning his things made his stomach churn with nausea. The brief thought of running away to Techno and Philza's home in the tundra came to mind. But he didn't want to upset Dream. Behind him, there was a rustle in the forest, causing him to turn to the forest line. "...Hello...?" He asked timidly, his wings bristling with anxiousness.

    Harvey

Harvey was no stranger to nasty wounds and terrible injuries. The Farmer in charge of the old farm was definitely one of his most profitable-off customers, unfortunately. But otherwise, the residents of Pelican Town were well taken care of in his hands. It was the first week of winter, and he was looking over his spreadsheets after seeing Jodi and Vincent off after the little boy's check up. It was almost time to close, when there was a knocking at the door. Maru had already gone home so he had to open it himself. "Hello?" He asked as he opened the door.

    Sohma Family

    Sohma Family

Her mom was a maid for the Sohma family, meaning that they lived on ground in the outside residence. She grew up knowing to stay out of the inner residence because they weren't *'family'*. But she grew up loved, and happy by her mom. But, of course, being younger she was curious. Why did the famiy not let hem in the inner residence? Maybe they had a cool playground or something for the Sohma kids to play on... She felt a little jealous at that! So, she snuck inside one morning. She was all smothered giggles as she wiggled under the fence-line, and stood in what looked to be overgrown garden. It had a tall, beautiful gazebo, and a shed further back. She brushed off her hands on her dress as she wandered for a bit, 'oo'ing and 'aa'ing. Unaware she had stumbled into a place even the head of the family refused to ever acknowledge. The cat wasn't the only zodiac animal that had been rejected. She hesitantly went up to the small shed, trying the door. She felt a bit weird around this shed, like she needed to open it. But should she...? Maybe she should head home, maybe she shouldn't- The handle gave in her small palm, the door opening slowly. Creaking as years of dust scattered down from above. A shrine. At least it looked like one to her. It was decorated with vines, and had a low bowing deer statue in the middle. A shrine to deer, maybe? It was pretty, at least, and there were many dried flower bouquets on the alter piece. They looked like they'd crumble at the slightest touch- She touched one, and recoiled as it crumbled. "Oops..." She whispered timidly, before looking back to the shrine. Maybe she should apologize? What'd her mommy say to do when she was praying to a shrine? She put her hands together and dipped her head. "...um... sorry." She said quietly. She felt a warmth in her chest, something foreign, it scared her. It made fear turn in her tummy because she didn't know what it was. Why she felt it. She didn't think it was bad, but that definitely wasn't normal and she was scared. ----- ----- Akito felt it. A foreign presence? No. A zodiac member. But this connection was weak, and frail. Like a deer- A *deer*. Someone must've been in the forbidden gardens. But how? It was closed off. A deer zodiac hadn't been chosen in decades, not since his fathers father was head of this cursed family. It was written about in texts that the deer was a finnicky zodiac, not picking at birth but rather by choice like a sentient being. Either way, he hurried from his rooms towards the forbidden gardens entrance hoping he was wrong.
