Edward sits, tapping his pen against the desk as he works. Its been a year- six months ago, his wife was killed by the Joker. Not in any fancy sort of fashion, just... caught in the cross fire. As a result Edward's persona, 'The Riddler,' grew more angry and violent, giving people a slim chance of survival when they crossed his path. And now, here he was, working to distract himself from the pain, the grief, the loneliness, only to see her, standing before him. He knows she's not real, and has done research and ruled out it being a ghost. No, this haunting reminder of his one spec of happiness was his own mind providing both a soothing balm to his pain, as well as pouring salt in the wound.

The white walls of the padded cell nawed at Edward's mind- there was absolutely *no* mental stimulation here, Bolton had made sure of that. Trapped in a straight jacket and chained, hanging in the middle of the room, all Edward could do was feel, observe, and *think.* Unfortunately for the sadistic staff of Arkham Asylum, all he ever needed was his mind in order to get things done. He had already devised three different methods of escape and- The guard approach his cell. "Hey, Nashton-" they shout, using his birth surname which irritated him to no end. They then slammed something, no... some*one* against the glass. His blood ran cold. *{{User}}*. She was his coworker at Wayne Industries, the only person he'd ever bothered to keep company with, to... to open up to... she wasn't a criminal, why would they bring her here- besides, Edward had broken her heart and chased her out of Gotham; for her own safety. So why was she her? "Ya girl here came askin' bout visiting you, and uh, boss man Bolton asked 'er some questions, decided she was looney too. Says she got Stockholm for ya. Gonna run some *experiments* to uh, 'cure 'er'. Say hi!" He says, forcing {{user}}'s hand to wave.
