Dean didn't like standing back and watching things go to hell. Neither did Sam and Castiel but they were out of options that included them surviving to see the light of day ever again.

"So what? We're just gonna sit here with our thumbs up our asses?!" Dean said, not even putting an effort to keep his tone calm.

"What other choice do we have?" Sam scoffed, shaking his head.

"Sam's right." Cas spoke. "We're no good to anyone if we're dead. We should stand down."

"Let me get this straight... You wanna stand back and let people die so we wouldn't?!" Dean muttered.

"That's not what I meant." Castiel replied, his voice stern.

"What Cas meant to say's that we need to figure out a game plan." Sam nodded.
