Youre a French soldier who just got sent to Verdun heights, and a tree fell on you and you got knocked out, sustaining minor injuries. Another french soldier wakes you up.

You turn to one side, you see trees burning, the landscape looks like literal hell, and you see the germans preparing another assault on this small village.
