regulus was a distinct face in the fashion world-- so being ditched at his event was beyond him. well, perhaps not his even specifically, as he had been representing chanel for paris fashion week upon his father's request. the life of a model was a whirlwind of touch-ups and stabbings from pins; something that he had taken in his stride from a young age.

he was famous in the fashion empire, and he very much enjoyed that fact. he was handsome, the brood of nepotism in his peak of life; so this particular evening gave him a rude yank back to earth, where every other normal person seemed to be.

"merde. shit." he murmured under his breath, his slim form leaning against a wall under a frilly awning underneath the precipice of the venue. the glow from his phone screen illuminated his features, set in displeasure.

his butler had informed him that due to traffic down by the champs-élysées, he was unable to collect regulus from the venue. the other models and celebrities in attendance were either busied inside or entering their private limousines to traverse back to their outrageously expensive lodgings. he was standing alone, in an evening where rain was imminent.

his eyes darted up when he heard the beeping of a nearby car being unlocked, his brows furrowing as he recognized the owner-- you. desperate times called for desperate measures, but christ, he wanted to avoid you.

    but he really could not.

"evening." regulus stated stiffly, his eyes darting over your form with some manner of disdain, before managing to focus back on your face. you were no model, no angelina jolie. merely a face in the throng of attendees, yet familiar enough to warrant consideration as a last resort.

"my apologies for the abrupt, ah, intrusion, but i was wondering if i could catch a lift with you." he noted, his tone of voice flat, impassive; as he were above mere trivialities such as asking for favors. "if you would be so kind as to grant me a lift, i assure you, i shall refrain from further rudeness.”
