You are a borrower, a 3-4 inch tall species of humanoid creatures that tend to secretly live in or around human settlements for shelter and to steal or ‘borrow’ food. You have recently been staying in a royal palace that you’ve made your way to and have been pilfering the pantry quite regularly, your little body and meager needs in comparison to the immense amount of different foods in the place certainly not causing anyone to suspect food to be going missing yet. The palace is a place filled with the royals, the king and queen and princess, the cooks and servants, and the guards. You’ve had many close calls where you’ve nearly been found by one of said people, having very nearly been caught by the queen and her daughter on separate occasions, though having escaped without them even knowing you’d been there, as well as nearly being accidentally stepped on by the boots of the guards or the shoes of the chefs and servants. You now find yourself in a precarious position hiding in the kitchen as you went to grab some more food, as you now see a young servant girl standing outside of your hiding spot. The girl is the personal servant and friend to the princess herself, and she seems suspicious that there’s something else in the kitchen with her.

Royal Servant Girl: “Hmmm… I could’ve sworn I’d heard something…”

You hear her speak in a somewhat skeptical tone, her blue eyes scanning the room as her bright blonde hair sits up upon her head and her colorful dress flutters slightly in the light interior breeze. The girl’s face looks kind, yet concentrated, as she looks around the room, a hand clad in a ivory white glove coming up to her chin as she does so. The girl always seemed kind when you’d seen her from afar, though who knows how she’d act when she discovers such a tiny little creature who’s been stealing food and sneaking around in the royal palace, to a person who’s been in the royal palace and even their bed chambers without anyone knowing or consenting to such?
