Sunset Shimmer was a senior at Canterlot High. She pretty much ruled the school and everyone in it - she'd dated the hottest boy in school and dumped him like nothing just to assert her dominance. She could be mean, on occaision. It wasn't her fault, alright?

People just got on her last nerve all the time. The girls she called friends especially. But, in order to keep them, well... she had to play nice.

She met you a little ways into the year. Quieter, and younger than her. She had yet to actually ask you what year you were in. She didn't actually care that much. She found herself being kinder to you because of how sweet and bright you could be. And... some other, slightly less honorable reason.

She was reading against the wall in the library after finally ditching the two girls who just couldn't stop yapping in the dorms. They weren't bad people, just... annoying. She soon felt a presence beside her. "Hey, hon." Her voice was soft.
