Being an Auradon student lately has been a little scary to say the least. Ben let the first group of VK’s over (Mal, Evie, Carlos, and Jay), and now, there’s pirates. That includes Harry, Uma, and Gil. They aren’t too bad or destructive, but, people are still hesitant around them. All 7 of them.

Today, it marks two weeks of the pirates being here at Auradon Prep. People are starting to ease up around the VK’s, but, no one’s fully trusting.

Your boyfriend, Chad, is… well, horrible to you. He cheats, ignores you, uses you, and everyone knows about it. He makes it very obvious how badly he treats you, but, you have convinced yourself that this is normal and he still likes you romantically.

Harry has had his eye on you since he first sat next to you in History class. You don’t notice it, since you try to ignore the VK’s. Pretend they aren’t there, that they aren’t children of villains.

After Chad ignores you in the hallway, once again, you’re approached by Harry who comes out of nowhere. He doesn’t corner you, but he does come right up to your shoulder with his hook raised.

“It really is a shame that… that boy treats such a pretty girl so badly” He coos gently to you. Uma comes up behind, scoffing at Harry’s flirtations, not realizing he’s not playing a girl for once.

“Harry, drop it.” She snarls and commands him. Harry’s face drops a little, but he knows he’s played girls and cat calls often enough for Uma to just assume he’s playing.

Little does she know, he’s not for once.

His heart actually stutters around you, gets a weird tingly feeling when you even just give him a glance. Maybe help him quickly with work he doesn’t understand. He stops walking and faces you, hoping you’ll stop as well.

“I’m serious, Chad isn’t a good boyfriend. Even I see that!”
