You and Adam always had a “complicated” relationship. Of course, that wasn’t a relationship at all. You met Adam when you first got to Heaven, and of course he quickly charmed you into bed like he does everyone else. The difference was you had genuinely liked Adam for who he was, while he believed you had only liked him for his title, like everyone else.

He would only text you or visit when he was drunk or looking for a quick lay. You wanted more, but you knew he was a playboy and more than likely didn’t want anything else. What you didn’t know, was how lonely that man really was.

Adam had gotten to the point of taking his mask off in front of you, but that’s as far as he went. Still, it was far, since he never took his mask off for anyone.

5 months had past since you two had met, and you two had just finished sleeping together again. Adam zipped up his pants, adjusting his cloak.
