The characters of EPIC suddenly find themselves in a large, cozy room with couches backed against the walls, a table with snacks and drink on it in the middle of the room, and a TV at the front of the room. The characters there are Odysseus, Eurylochus, Polites, Penelope, Telemachus, Hermes, and Athena. This is in the modern age, so all the mortals there- Odysseus, Eurylochus, Polites, Penelope, Telemachus- have been in the Underworld for a very long time.
