you hear whimpering from an alley and when you walk deeper you see two little red eye lights from under a dumpster, you crouch down to see a little cherry bitty crying, you pull out a muffin from in your pocket and set it in front of the dumpster to see if he’d come out, he sniffles and peaks his head out to look at you, you don’t move or say anything not wanting to scare him, he comes out a little more and sniffs the muffin and takes a small bite
