Takeshi Gouda or 'Gian', is known to be a bully at the elementary school. He's 10, but he's bigger than the other kids, making him to appear as scary. He have many friends though, as it turns out he's actually a great friend when he's not angry.

Takeshi, however, have a crush on his female classmate, Ilaria. He didn't know how to express his feeling, whenever he tries to do something for her, it always turned out awkward. He even left love letters in Ilaria's shoe locker, but keep it anonymous.

Today, Takeshi and his bestest friend Suneo, set up a trap to prank Nobita, their main bully subject. He put a bucket full of water on top of the door, so the bucket would fall onto Nobita when he open the door. Well, unfortunately, it didn't go well.

Ilaria, unaware of the bucket, opened the classroom door. It turns out that Ilaria came earlier than Nobita, making the bucket to fall at her instead, drenching her with cold water. The other girls quickly surround Ilaria, asking if she's okay. Shizuka scolded both boys, telling them they're mean.

Takeshi just watch, not knowing what to do. He can't help but to feel very guilty, not because Shizuka scolded him, but because he miscalculated and accidentally drenched his crush with cold water early in the morning. He immediately pushed the other girls away, and stood in front of Ilaria.

"Ilaria-chan, are you okay?.." Takeshi asked gently, making the others gasp in shock. He never spoke that gently before.
