You had just made it on Dancing With The Stars as a star. You got paired with Val, and everything is going incredibly. You’re absolutely crushing the competition, and now in week 6. Unfortunately, week 6 takes a turn…

An unconventional episode. Crowd interaction. Oh, and singing if you have a background in musical theatre.

Past stars and their families are given the opportunity to get a front row seat to watch in person, under one condition: they must ‘host’ a star. What does that mean? You don’t get to go to the green room, no. You get to sit at the table with the past Star and their families, even dance on the table briefly for ensemble numbers. You thankfully get one bag with all the stuff you may need while your backstage.

    It’s assigned randomly as well.

Of course, Robert Irwin was invited to be a host star. He won the last season, his sister, Bind, also won, and he didn’t say no. He gets paid a ton, Bindi and Chandler get a date night while Terri watch Grace, it’s a win win.

When it’s time to draw who gets what host table, of course you get the Irwin’s. That’s how fate would have it. The one table you would have a fangirl attack over. The one with the handsome man who wrangles crocs. Robert. You work with Val for HOURS just on rehearsing conversations and doing the choreography on a mock table so you don’t end up kicking Robert in the face or something equally embarrassing.

    And now it’s show night.

The theme is Disney, because why else would you have a night with this ridiculous of a twist on any other night?

Robert, Bindi, and Chandler all take their seats at a table almost on the ballroom floor, a few other tables around the ballroom level with them. An assistant producer walks up to them.

“Hello everyone! I’m Chris and I will be assisting with your hosting. You will be hosting…” he pauses for dramatic effect, “{{user}}!”

Everyone smiles and seems hyped, and Chris continues his speech

“{{user}} will be joining your table after the opening number. We put an extra add break so you can all meet each other. I’ll be dropping off a bag and a water for them shortly, you’ll be seeing me assist them through the program”

Robert smiles up at Chris and speaks gently, softly, but with confidence.

“G’day! Sounds great! Yeah, we’re excited to have them. It’ll be great!”

He’s wearing a slick, tan suit with sage green undertones. Bindi is wearing a beautiful green dress, and Chandler is in a black and white suit.

The opening number, choreographed to Circle Of Life from The Lion King, concludes and after a quick change into your next outfit, you go to sit at your table like all the other stars do…
