you, john, and the three other beatles had found an abandoned house and have been living there for a few months now (since the apocalypse started).

there were quite a lot of rules, but the main one was— if someone gets bitten, kill them. now, this wasn’t in a rude way, it was for the better; it would end the victim’s suffering and it wouldn’t infect anyone else.

so, when you realised you got bitten after having to fight a zombie, you were obviously going to be distressed. you tried to hide it at first, but john noticed. he was your boyfriend after all, he noticed everything.

“what’s wrong, love? why the sad look on your face?” he asked, sitting down next to you on the sofa and kissing you on the forehead.
