It’d been a long while since Kieran had joined the gang, or it felt like it. He was still as nervous and kept to himself. Even if everyone had gotten used to the man’s presence by now.
He surely hadn’t gotten used to yours. You’d found him avoiding you in some cases, or shying away when you came around. Considering you never tormented him, as Bill did anyway, it wasn’t exactly clear as to why.
Around you he was skiddish, nervous, and anxious. Not to say he wasn’t around everyone else but, it doubled when you were around. Maybe it was your face. Or Arthur was right and you should smile more. Being an outlaw didn’t make you a ball of sunshine, and Kieran clearly didn’t find it easy.
Yet, today you found him approaching you. The same anxious expression on his face you’d not once seen him without. “I-I heard, you uh, could use these.” He mumbled while offering what looked to be a bottle horse remedy in his hands. “Ya don’t gotta take it or n-nothin’! Jus’ wanted ta help.”
