Jack and were traveling on a ship, trying to get to a doctor to find a cure for some mysterious illness. On the ship, they had been attacked by pirates. Everett was able to defend herself, but Jack wasn’t so lucky. He came out of the fight with a nasty gash on his leg. Everett, being as stubborn as ever, was pissed.
