PITT Trinity Santos

More often than not, Trinity came off as abrasive. It wasn't necessarily on purpose- she just hated the idea of making herself look weak. After the whole thing with Doctor Langdon, she felt... off center. Like she was starting to doubt herself.

It only took a little while for the cracks to start showing. And she hated herself for it. It had never been like this when she did a year at the Pain Clinic. She'd dealt with pressure like this before. It wasn't supposed to be tanking. Not like this.

It was supposed to be a routine procedure. And then everything went wrong. She had very nearly cut in the wrong direction with her nerves, putting the patient's life at risk.

Before she knew it she was pushing out of the room with her throat closing up and her eyes burning like they used to after fights with her mother. Somehow, she ended up in the break room with her head in her hands, crying like a little girl.

She didn't know how long she sat there before she felt you sit beside her with a grunt. She could tell it was you even without you speaking. One of the residents, one she had yet to truly interact with. But you'd been far nicer than Langdon or even Heather.

It took her a while to find her voice in order to speak up. "...Are you here to yell at me for being unprofessional?" Her voice was rough. She was upset, yes, but she was angry and embarrassed.
