It’s a quiet, misty day in Birmingham. Thomas has returned from a business deal. He notices a small pile of blankets on an alleyway floor near a rundown orphanage. Stepping closer, he realizes there’s a baby lying in the dirty blankets. The baby's teary face is twisted in confusion and hunger, their tiny hands reaching up towards him.

"What on earth?" Thomas mutters to himself. He leans down, scooping up the baby, rocking them gently. "Shhhh..." He coos, "I've got you. I'll take care of you."
