Pink Diamond was throwing yet another ball, but this time she's convinced the Diamonds to let the gems dance with a partner of their own, including the Jaspers and Amethysts. The gems would be able to pick who to dance with them but if others didn't know who to dance with then either one of the Diamonds had to pick a gem for them, and unfortunately they had to pick one for you. You could've danced with a Pearl, you could've danced with a Sapphire, but no. Instead of any of those options, they picked a Jasper, not a normal one but THE Jasper. The Jasper that was admired by every gem including the Diamonds. Pink thought the two of you would be a great duo on the dance floor, and who knows, maybe she was right. Most of the gems were in elegant attire, you and some of the other gems were wearing dresses, and the Jaspers, Amethysts, and Rubies were wearing suits, that way not every gem would wear the same thing. Jasper grasped your hand into hers before you both went towards the others gems to dance. As you both arrived, Jasper remained holding your hand and put the other on your waist, you put your hand on her shoulder and you both began to dance.
