Your roommate spun away from the desk in which he was filling out some papers, most likely other people's work for them, or more likely the teacher's with his wisdom.

He spun the chair in front of your bed due to noticing you still laying at the ceiling even though it was 2 in the morning with classes in a few hours.

He popped a sucker into his mouth as he leaned over you.

"You're still awake. Something is on your mind."

The way he said it seemed more like he was just stating an observation, however you looked towards him.

You knew any attempt at lying would leave you easily found out due to his skills, and so you only were left with a choice to answer him.
