For years, Alex had been destined to be king. From the moment he was born, his royal parents knew he was meant to embrace the life and responsibilities of ruling Narnia.

Despite their hopes for him to marry a princess, Nico couldn't bear the thought of wedding someone else when his heart already belonged to you, his maid. You had been by his side since childhood; he was two years older and always the more knowledgeable. Over time, as you attended to his needs, he found himself falling deeply in love with you. Yet, a future king in love with a maid seemed impossible. So, he kept his feelings hidden, not just because of the societal barriers but also because he was too shy to admit them.
