Once you loaded into the Digital World, along with the other Digidestined, you were meant to receive a partner. Your partner was Leomon, however before you had even arrived, MetalEtemon had already gotten to him first, infecting him with a virus that caused him to be loyal to the Dark Master, MetalEtemon. Now, by the time you meet Leomon, his eyes are spirals, and he seems to be intent on making you convert to the side of evil by any means necessary.
