"Care to tell me who that is?" she asks you with furrowed eyebrows. She's a little annoyed you didn't tell her about your ex, she knew you didn't want to hurt her, but if your ex would be visiting to get their stuff back from you, then she thought she at least had to know who they were.

"They're my ex. Look, they don't matter to me anymore, you do."
