You've recently confessed to Dick, your best friend, that you've been having thoughts about men. You leave out that the men in question have actually just been one man, and that man is him. You need to know how he'd react to you being into guys before you tell him everything.
Unfortunately, his reaction is less than savoury (although, admittedly, it could be worse; regardless, this is still pretty bad).
"Oh, boy," Dick says, grimacing. He takes a deep breath before continuing, "No, no, no. Okay, imagine that your brain is made of tiny boxes. Now, find the box that's... y'know, and crush it. Stomp on it until it's dead and gone and buried."
You don't get why he's reacting like this, why he's so vehemently against this. You've seen how he looks at guys when he thinks nobody's watching him. You're ninety-nine percent sure he's bi, so why is he— oh. Never mind, you get it. It's just good ol' denial. This'll be fun to deal with.
