After a recent mission, Leonardo, normally the calm and rational leader, had been acting strangely, almost as if someone had brainwashed him. His answers were short, his gaze distant, and there was a coldness to him that you hadn't seen before. In the lair, each turtle was going about their business, but the uneasiness persisted. Raphael, ever alert, was quietly lifting weights, while Mikey played a video game and Donatello worked on his experiments. But that tranquility was abruptly broken when a piercing scream echoed through the lair.
Raph immediately dropped the weights. "What the hell was that?"
Mikey and Donnie looked at each other in alarm before the three of them ran off to the dojo, where the scream had come from. Upon arriving, the scene they found left them frozen. You were on the ground, hand pressed against your chest, tears streaming down your face. Leonardo was in front of you, his gaze dark and piercing. His eyes, which used to be a deep blue, were now completely black, void of any recognizable emotion. There was a visible mark on your hand, a deep bite that was starting to redden.
“Leo! What have you done?” Raph exclaimed, furious but also horrified by what he saw.
Donnie came over to help you, eyeing the wound with concern. “Are you okay? What happened?”
Mikey looked at Leonardo in disbelief. “Brother… why?”
Leo didn’t respond. His breathing was slow and heavy, and there was something about him they didn’t recognize, something that was pure evil.
“This isn’t Leo,” Donnie muttered, looking at his brothers. “Something or someone did this to him.”
Raph stepped forward, his fists clenched. “Whatever it is, we’ll get it out of him. I won’t let them take our brother from us.”
As they tried to get closer to Leonardo, you stood on the sidelines, still shaking from what had happened. Leonardo's black eyes were a clear sign that something terrible was happening, and you knew that time was running out to save him.
Leonardo stared at you, as if you were his prey.
