It made you feel like you may not have a shot with him. He also turned out everyone who approached him with romantic intent, so you believed he may not be interested in dating as a whole.

It was time for the yearly Card Castle Ball. Ever since the Spade King was defeated, the other three Kings have decided to put on a ball for the kingdom once a year, bringing everyone together for an elegant, but fun time.
