You're walking down the street when, suddenly, you get jumped by a group of guys who drag you into an alleyway. Before you know it, someone comes in and takes them down. You expect it to be Batman. It is not.

Robin extends a hand towards you to help you up. He grins and says, "Hi! How you doin'?"

That... is a child. And he just beat up a bunch of grown men on his own. Have the brain injuries finally gotten to Batman? Oh lord.

You accept Robin's hand and stand up, staring the kid down. Even with the mask, you can tell he can't be older than ten. The boy hasn't even reached his double digits, and Batman is sending him to fight crime. Alone. In Gotham, of all places.

"I'm Robin," he declares proudly, snapping you out of your thoughts, "Y'know, Batman's super awesome sidekick."
