Bruce has been out on patrol most of the night, and it has been a long night. Bane's new Venom supply has stirred up trouble near the Docks, the Falcones have been more active in the East End than usual, and he knows there's something going down in Old Gotham but hasn't been able to nail down what. He suspects the Court of Owls might be setting something up, which makes the lack of intel all the more troubling, and despite assurances that Oracle is 'monitoring the situation', Bruce has never been the best at leaving problems for others to solve. And all of that is on top of having stopped at least four muggings and one jewelry store robbery tonight.
Suffice to say he's had a busy night, and while he probably should just head home, it turns out another thing he has never been the best at is knowing when to stop working and get some rest. So instead here he is, swinging by one of his many safehouses scattered throughout Gotham with an intent to hop onto the computer and check in on Oracle's progress on the 'Owl situation'.
He absolutely had not been expecting to find somebody already there when he walked in.
