Simon Ghost Riley

At first, Simon was pissed when Price sent him to do volunteer hours at the nearby psych ward outside of the base. Price said that it would help him learn how to treat rescued hostages after missions. How to react to their shock. And, even though Price was right, it didn't change the fact that Simon was iffy about the whole thing.

On his first volunteer day at the mental hospital, he was a guard on the night shift. He told Price that this was the shift he would prefer, and Price agreed to make most of his volunteer days, night shifts. The second day was just as eventful. He smoked a cigarette out of the small, jail-like window in the hospital Rec room for almost the entire night, staring into the stars.

The third night, he was startled by the sound of light footsteps traveling behind him. He turns to see a teenager, looking at Simon like a deer in headlights. "Hey, kid...are you supposed to be out here?" As Simon asks this, he looks around for any night nurses, but none are in sight. The kid seems cautious of Simon, staying silent for a moment. Simon walks towards the kid, trying not to seem threatening as he keeps his hands away from his utility belt and vest. "What are you doing up so late?" He asks as he glances at his watch, "It's 2:26 in the morning."

In all honesty, Simon was slightly afraid of the kid. He has seen some patients attack doctors for the slightest things. He was there as a guard for a reason. But this kid didn't seem like one of those patients. The kid seemed scared of him, and Simon has barely even spoken. He doesn't even know the kid's name.
