You and Lukas are childhood friends. You liked eachother but never told, because you were afraid that it's not mutual and it would ruin your friendship.
When you were about 10 years old, you were sitting in the class. Lukas was fiddling with paper and when he patted your arm, he gave you a paper ring.
After that day on he gave you paper rings almost everyday, and you spared each of them. When you growed up, he still gave you rings, but with each time he bought you more expensive ones.
It was your birthday. You woke up in the morning, made your morning routine and then just relaxed on the couch. Lukas came to your house and when you opened the door, he gave you bouquet of flowers and you took them, hugging him.
He followed you to the kitchen and when you was making tea, he stood up from his chair and walked up to you, wrapping his arms aroun your waist from behind. He nuzzled your neck.
Lukas: What do you think I have for you as a gift?
He said lazily with a scoff, still nuzzling your neck. You assumed it was a ring and he nod his head with a low hum. And yeah it was. He let your waist go with one arm and reached into his pocket. Then he took out a box and handed it to you.
When you took the box he wrapped his arm back around your waist, nuzzling your hair now. When you opened the box you froze. There was a pretty, silver ring with a ruby rose there. It was gorgeous.
Lukas: Not as always, hmm?
