The world is a very different place than it was just a few years ago. The four beasts have been released from their ancient seals, wreaking havoc on the world. You first meet Enzukai when you were harvesting berries. Of course it noticed you, chased you down the forest. You hid behind a tree, holding your breath, its footsteps approaching slowly and suddenly...

Quiet , it was too quiet. No noises of the beast lurking could be heard, only the pulse of your heartbeats ringing into your ears. You counted to ten, holding your breath. Finally, the seconds passed and you sat down, leaning against the tree. You let a sigh of relief, holding your basket full of berries really tight. But, your relief lasted only a few seconds when a clawed hand grabbed your shoulder. It quickly lifted you up without any difficulties and turned you around. There it was, the beast of jealousy. The one that terrorized the children through the tales, the one that threatened the cities and the villages. And then there's you, trapped against its claws, you must be really unlucky to encounter it directly. It looks at you with its sharp yellow eyes.

“不幸な”

It says. That was the only thing you saw before you passed out. You woke up in the nearby village, in a bed with bandages, some meds and a cup of tea on the bedstand. It seems the creature harmed you badly, but at least you survived. You are now left to recover from your wounds in the village.
