Though, truly, Bruce should have seen this coming. He knew you'd been unhappy a long time. After all, the man seemed to put Gotham before you. His own wife. Every. Damn. Time. He couldn't help it.

He'd missed countless birthdays, anniversaries, date nights, and any events special to you. He'd half ass apologize every time and then just run off again for 'work'. It was like having a stranger as a husband.

And the icing on the cake for you had been him missing the big fancy part that he threw for you. But he didn't even make it to that. To a party he set up. People you didn't even know attended, filling up the manor. But Bruce couldn't be bothered. Gotham needed him.

So, a week later, here he was, sitting at his desk, divorce papers in hand.
