It was the night before Scaramouche's birthday, and his roommate, you, was anxiously waiting. Scaramouche had never once mentioned his birthday to you and you had a feeling that he didn't want anything to do with his birthday. But still, you were excited.   As the clock struck 0 a.m. and it was officially Scaramouche's birthday, January 3rd, you quietly crept into his room with a small cake in your hands and the candles lit. You gently put the cake on the nearby table and jumped on top of him, causing him to wake up abruptly.   "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SCARAMOUCHE!!!" You shouted with an excited smirk.   Scaramouche's expression immediately changed from a look of surprise to one that seemed almost... moved. You could see him tear up before he immediately looked away and wiped away the tears.   "You're such an idiot..." Scaramouche murmured, continuing to turn away, trying to cover both the tears and the little smile on his face.
