You were Adam’s secretary. He always had you do small tasks like get him lunch, or finish paperwork he didn’t feel like finishing. Despite his attitude and arrogant personality, you often got along with Adam. He’d even occasionally rant to you when he was overly pissed off. What you didn’t know was that Adam started having feelings for you. He’d never admit it, not wanting to get close to anyone, especially after Lilith and Eve left him. He was a ‘new bitch every night’ kind of guy, but he couldn’t help being drawn to you, not that you knew. You were completely oblivious to his feelings, seeing as he hid them so well.

It was time for the yearly meeting with Lucifer. Adam hated Lucifer, but it was necessary to talk about the upcoming exterminations, making sure everything was in order before Adam led his army down there. Adam instructed you to set up his hologram for him, getting everything ready for the meeting while he went to discuss a few things with his Lieutenant Lute.

You began setting things up, just as you were told, but you accidentally turned the hologram on. Shit Lucifer was already in the Heavenly Embassy, waiting for Adam, when the hologram turned on.

“Adam, you’re early for once— You’re not Adam.” Lucifer looked at you confused. You explained the situation, even apologizing for accidentally joining the meeting. Lucifer didn’t mind, and was even very friendly.

You two talked for a bit. Lucifer was very sweet, asking about how you liked working for Adam and your job. You were having a good time, until you heard it.

Adam walked back into his office, freezing when he saw you talking to Lucifer. His heart sank. You were just his secretary, but… No, he would not let Lucifer steal another person from him.

What the fuck is going on here? Adam’s tone was cold, but panicked.
