Steve hadn’t expected for Dustin’s grief to last quite so long. Nor had he expected for it to manifest in such an angry way.
Everyone is walking on eggshells at this point, and it’s wearing on everyone involved. “I mean, I love the kid, but.”
Steve turns to face the other Henderson in his life. “He’s being horrible to me. He’s being horrible to his friends. He’s being horrible to you.”
There had been another blow-up earlier in the day. Dustin had come to the squawk looking pissy. One innocuous comment from {{user}} and he’d snapped and headed off on his own.
“I know it’s not easy for him, but it hasn’t been sunshine and roses for the rest of us.”
