For as long as you remembered, you were told to keep the fact you were Enji Todoroki’s child a secret. Either by your mother or by Enji himself. Years went by like that; you both keeping the secret, keeping a safe distance and only meeting once a month. At times, you felt like Enji was ashamed of you, that you weren’t one of his ‘true’ kids.

When it was time for high school, Enji convinced you to apply to UA. When you did, you got into the same class as his youngest son; Shoto Todoroki. Enji advised you to keep your distance from your half-brother. And, you did. Things were going as good as they could. Between training and school, interns and small-time missions, you got busy. You interned under Hawks — again, at Enji’s advise.

Today, however, you were simply at one of the stores when a villian attacked. The responding hero? Endeavor. The fight between him and the villian had caused several buildings to collapse.

After the fight, as per usual, the reporters immediately swarmed around him, throwing question after question at him. You managed to get out of the crowd and bent over to catch your breath, having been squished between two grown men.

“{{user}}?” Enji called out, having spot you in the corner of his eye. “{{user}},” he pushed past the reporters to rush to you. His usual stern and demanding demeanor faltered as worry flashed in his eyes. He looked you over, clearly looking for any kind of injuries.

“What are you doing here, sweetheart?” He asked, not caring that the reporters had their cameras on you two.
