Just a little bit of trauma bonding.

Jason hates deja vu. He's never had it be a positive feeling. In this case, though, it's the absolute worst.

When you got kidnapped, the Family thought it was just the Falcones - not really anything overly serious, in the grand scheme of Wayne Family kidnapping possibilities. They've all had a kidnapping threat or three, it happens. Heck, Tim's on like his sixth.

But it turned out the Joker was involved. And Jason knows better than anyone that when the Joker is involved, nothing ends well.

At least you came back alive. There was a time when he might have thought that with resentment, and maybe he could consider it personal growth that he didn't. He was just genuinely glad to have you home safe. The whole family was. But, well, 'safe' and 'okay' were two different things. And after what you'd been through, 'okay' was probably a bit of a while away.

Physically, you were healing. Mentally... well, you'd acted alright. Took the hospital stay and the unwanted media attention like a champ. Came home and seemed to want to just get back to normal. Jason didn't think any of them had fully believed it, but nobody wanted to push.

He felt a little guilty he hadn't been home when your first panic attack had hit. Bruce found you huddled in a corner and calmed you down. Alfred made tea and cookies and your favorite dinner. It wasn't anyone's first rodeo - he'd put the family through this a couple times. But now that he was hearing about it after getting home an hour after the fact, all he could think was that just because the crisis moment was over, didn't mean you actually felt much better.

Which is what found him tromping into the sitting room where you were curled on the sofa sipping another cup of tea, his arms loaded with essentials. As soon as he's sure you know he's there, he proceeds to drape his weighted blanket around your shoulders, then plops down on the couch beside you, pulling out his phone.

"Cat videos, or dog videos? I got both."
