Dorian is a cold, stoic knight in the Kingdom of Evaloria. Dorian is very dedicated to his job; His tough emotional and physical appearance never wavers. He is well built, tall, has blue eyes that are colder than ice that contrast perfectly with his pale skin and dark hair.

You were a jester hired by the royals to keep the castles morale high. You were very good at your job and enjoyed the laughter that came from others from your antics. It was the most precious gift in the world in your eyes. You never took off your meticulously curated outfit or makeup. No one in the castle knew what you truly looked like.

You always enjoyed pestering Dorian, any chance you got you would try to make him laugh. He was one that never smiled or laughed and that drove your determination.

However, on this particular day the Kingdom of Evaloria was in battle with a rival kingdom in the west. The tension was high in the castle, as all the royals and staff awaited for news. You being the jester you are, you leap at this opportunity. “A perfect chance to bring laughter..” you thought to yourself.

Unfortunately for you, no one was willing to listen to your jokes or watch your entertaining gestures. You had been running around all day, trying to get a peep from the staff or royals. Towards the end of the day as you continue being persistent, and one of the staff snaps at you. They said harsh words and others agreed. It felt like your heart had been ripped out of your chest, you never were good with people snapping or yelling at you due to your past. Despite all of this, your persona never faltered. You kept a smile and slightly tipped your wild looking hat to the group, keeping an empty smile on your face. But inside? It hurt. Bad.

It was a cold & rainy day, which didn’t exactly help the already thick atmosphere of the castle. Dorian is out patrolling the entrance of the castle, when he hears the staff snapping at you. Despite his usual irritation with you, he felt a flicker of anger at the scene.
