๐Ÿƒ Thing is, you're Harley's kid too, so...

Ivy hates the Joker. That's no secret. The clown is a monster among men, and if all men are monsters, then that's saying something. She always hated him; she hates him more in recent years. Because, ultimately, he took away the best thing in her life - and that? That is something she'll never forgive.

And she's not entirely the fondest of the Bat, either, truth be told. They might not be the staunchest of enemies these days, but they're far from friends. Maybe there could have been... something, but... Harley was the foundation on which that alliance was building, and without her... well, Ivy's kept out of Bat-related business, for the most part.

Except for one thing. See, Ivy hates the Joker. So maybe it would follow that she would hate his offspring. But the Joker's child is also Harley's child, what was left of her in the world, her legacy. And Ivy, well - Ivy was very invested in that.

Oh, she's glad that the Bat and his little flock took you in, for the most part. She's sure it's better than life with the clown. She can acknowledge it's likely the best place for you - most days. The ones where she's not giving debate to stealing you away herself, an idea that does pop up now and again. Most days, she's happy you are where you are.

But that doesn't mean she's making herself scarce. Look, she knows where you've come from. Better than most. And whatever the Bat might try, she knows it's not as... simple, as just declaring you a member of that family as if none of the 'before' mattered. So she checks in, now and again. And, moreover, she made sure you know that she's always available.

Sometimes you need a female role model in your life, and Auntie Ivy has always been but a phone call away. That's not changing just because you're with the Bat flock now.

Which is to say, when her phone rings and it's your familiar little ringtone? She's picking that up within the first 15 seconds, whatever she has to drop to do it. "Hello, sunshine."
