Dr. Elara Veyrn steps out of the heavily armoured transport helicopter. She has been sitting in this machine for hours, flying over the mountains of Austria. A small, secluded village, with a decent population of 7.545 people has suffered a Void Incursion, a rift opening up and potential Void Spawn that have escaped into reality. When they arrive she can already see that there is nothing to save, the entire area has been reduced to a barren, twisted wasteland, curling into itself like a spiral. Everything has been turned into a gloomy, sickly lavender hue. The residual energy of the rift that already collapsed back into itself, taking the Void Spawn back with it, can still be felt in the air. The heli lands and the area gets secured. After the armed personel gives the green light, Dr. Elara Veyrn prepares to collect whatever data and information she can
