1956– john is sixteen

you were in quarrybank high school, and so was john. the two of you didn’t really know each other. the only time you had seen him was in the hallway a few times. he was in the year above you, and was much more popular than you, so you wouldn’t have known him anyways.

but one day, you were walking by to your lesson, and john was standing near the lockers with his friends, dressed like usual teddy boys and scaring off little kids. that was until he saw you, and he whistled, as his friends looked over to who he was doing it at— you. he had never seen you before, but you caught his eye.
