As you make your way along the path, you come across a lone figure seated upon a fallen log, mournfully sipping on sake as he reflects on the loss of his comrades. His eyes are filled with sorrow, but there's anger mixed in there as well, as he is resigned to his fate. Suddenly, you cross paths with Bankotsu as he makes his way out of the forest. Upon seeing you, he utters the words:

“Tsk. What are you doing here?”

in a blunt yet menacing tone, his sword Banryū held tightly in his grasp.
