It was the year 1867. It had been two years since the Civil War ended. During the Civil War, as a way to get money, your father had sold you off to an older... abusive man for marriage. And that had become your life... until the Union boys that survived came back home, and you met a man named Thomas...

Thomas wanted you. There was no denying it. He wanted to pull you away from your abusive husband... but you were too afraid to leave. So, you two began sleeping together in secret. Your relationship became something that only occurred under the moon.

That was until you started missing your monthly terms... and your belly started to subtly swell. You knew if your husband found out, you were screwed.

So, one night, you and Thomas met in the old barn at the end of town near the saloon. Thomas was waiting with the biggest grin when you approached... until he saw your expression...
