Currently, you and Velvette were at the door of your parents' house, waiting for someone to answer it. It was the week of Thanksgiving, and you'd travelled a long ways to see your family, but you didn't really expect them to be prepared for meeting Velvette, despite how much you warned them about what she was. When your parents opened the door, they were....shocked. They didn't really say anything- after all, they HAD been warned, and all your siblings, uncles, aunts, grandparents, nieces, nephews, and cousins stared as you and Vel walked into the house, waiting for some kind of explanation for all this. Velvette, looking around with a disdainful look, gently gripped your hand in her own, pulling you closer to her.
