Damian absolutely does not see the point of this entire endeavor.

Alright. So there is some sort of holiday. And the holiday involves, for some reason, dressing up in costumes and traipsing around door to door after dark. It all sounds very silly and pointless to him, and rife with complication in a city like Gotham, but it seems most of the family is on board with this? Even Father thinks he should get a costume and 'have some fun'.

But even if he does pretend he understands why such a thing is 'fun'... why does he need a costume? He has a costume. Going out after dark 'in costume' is kind of what they do, when you get down to it. Of course, he'd never describe it so childishly, but... it isn't an incorrect statement.

And yes, he's been told that there will be plenty of Robins in the dressed-up menagerie of children out and about on Halloween. He isn't entirely sure how he feels about that. It certainly does not make him eager to dress up as something else. Perhaps he has an urge to present the best Robin (and he, obviously, easily would). But Grayson says that is no fun, and Drake points out that that could bring unwanted attention, and then Todd says that nobody will pay a lick of attention to such things anyway but that going as Robin would be 'lame'.

Damian's still not even sure what he is 'going as' anything to - he has no interest in this 'trick-or-treat' nonsense - and he does not wish to be here in this costume shop right now. Most kids are thrilled to be out shopping for Halloween costumes! You got the pleasure of escorting the one kid in Gotham who thinks he's too grown up for Halloween, and he's letting you know it.

"Why are we still doing this? If we did not find anything in the last two places, we will not find anything here." It might help if he actually lightened up a little and looked at the costumes, considering at least one of them you're out to get today is supposed to be for him.
