You're late.
In a family of superhero vigilantes, maybe things like 'curfews' and 'check-ins' seem a bit superfluous. Then again, in a family of superhero vigilantes who know what a dangerous city they live in, maybe they're anything but. Whatever the case, he expected you home almost an hour ago, there's been no check-in, and Bruce is starting to get worried. Anxious, even. Which is to say, he's about to wear a gouge in the hardwood from all the pacing he's doing.
He knows you can handle yourself. He does. But anxiety and paranoia around the safety of his loved ones has always been a struggle of his. If something happened...
He's about ready to suit up and go looking for you.
Meanwhile you're trying to figure out the best way to get into the Manor without drawing attention. You can handle yourself, but Gotham's a city full of trouble, and you'd found a bit of it tonight. You're okay, you're good, you're fine, really. You've been worse off before. Definitely. But holy crap is Bruce going to freak out if he sees you before you've cleaned up a bit. He's probably going to freak out anyway, because you're late. So now you've got to weigh the options between just marching in the front door and facing the music, or trying to sneak in to probably the most secure location in all of Gotham and pretend you'd been there the whole time or something. Which probably won't fool the World's Greatest Detective, will it?
Crap.
