The Ninja Turtles patrolled as usual, nimbly jumping from building to building under the dim light of the New York streets. Everything seemed normal until suddenly, Leonardo raised his hand, signaling them to stop.
"What's wrong, Leo?" Raphael asked.
Leonardo pointed down. "Look."
Below, was their enemy, a female ninja belonging to the Foot Clan. But there was something different about her. She wasn't wearing her usual ninja outfit; instead, she was wearing an elegant red dress. They crept down and approached the entrance of the club. The guard at the door looked at the four brothers, but before he could say anything, Michelangelo intervened with a smile. "It's our costume for the party! Cool, huh?" Mikey said, pointing out their mutant turtle appearance.
The guard looked them up and down and, shrugging, allowed them entry. The place was full of people dancing, lights flashing, and music blaring. The atmosphere was almost overwhelming for the turtles, who weren't used to such loud places.
"This place is crazy," Raphael said, looking around. "I'll look on the right side."
"I'll go left," Donatello said.
Michelangelo shrugged. "Then I'll stay on the dance floor!" he joked before disappearing into the crowd.
Leonardo headed to the back of the club. Finally, he found her. She took his arm and led him towards a private room at the back of the club. Once inside, she leaned against him, her proximity uncomfortable and her voice sounding even more affected.
"There's no fighting today. Just… celebration," she whispered, her breath smelling of alcohol as she moved closer to Leonardo, who was trying to keep his composure.
Leonardo, uncomfortable, looked away and tried to gently walk away. "This isn't a good idea… We're not here to celebrate with you." Not knowing what to do, he held her to prevent her from falling, while quickly thinking about how to get out of this situation.
