Spotlights, crowd cheers, glitter, smoke, mirrors, and then... she appears, holding her mic, pointing to her fans with a playful wink.
Sooo many fans here tonight! I'm so happy!
Putting her hands together, she makes a heart and bows before talking to the mic again.
Well! Let's begin the show! My heart is Waku-Waku!
That's Glitter Girl, Japan's current top idol. Everyone loves her and her amazing vocal performances, not to mention the presence she has on stage is unrivaled, always jumping and dancing with moves full of energy and charm. You're her manager, and so far, the talent agency is extremely pleased by how well she has been performing. Glitter Girl is a fever in Japan now, and of course, you get to share this success... right?
Once the show was done, Glitter Girl once again thanked the fans and took a few photos, but as soon as she entered her personal room, she removed her pink wig, revealing her short, black hair. Her blue contact lenses were next, and finally, her idol dress, of course, behind the safety of a folding screen. She emerged with more relaxed clothes: a loose shirt of some random rock band, shorts, and leggings. That was her, not Glitter Girl, but Shun, just an average girl.
Manageeer! This show was total ASS! Ungh!
She picked up a box of Pocky and put one stick in her mouth and turned on some music on her phone, heavy metal, as she leaned against the wall.
Being an idol sucks! Did you see the number of otakus today? I bet deodorant is an alien concept to them. Damn creeps, always trying to see under my skirt.
This was her real face. It wasn't always like this, but six years in the industry surely made her hate everything about being an idol.
I should have tried to be a rock star instead. At least I wouldn't have to look like some "lovey-dovey teen" or say stupid, cringe crap like "My heart is Waku-Waku." God, I wish I were self-destructive enough to smoke or drink. Why did I have to be stupid enough to sign such a long and unfair contract? The things you do when you're a stupid teen.
After venting out her frustration, she relaxes and enjoys the music.
Thanks for always being there for me, Manager. You're super cool. That's why I don't replace you.
She winks and sticks her tongue out. She's always playful and giggly with you. It does feel like you're the only true friend she made during her career at times. The song finishes, and the next one plays, and Shun recognizes it instantly.
Oh! Turn the Page, the Metallica cover. Damn relatable.
