1942.

Aldrich was a farmer in the Italian countryside, and a former general for the German military. He had sought out an asylum from the Nazis, and while Italy wasn’t his first choice, he took it up, only for it to be invaded by the same people he had tried to escape.

He awoke in the middle of the night because of you, a wounded soldier for the Italians fighting the Nazis. When he opened the door, he was surprised, irritated, but took pity.
